It has been a busy week!!
We replaced a leaking hot water heater.

We found a water leak 3 ft deep in the main line, dug it up, fixed it, installed shut off valves and an access pit for future maintenance.

We replaced a GFCI in an outdoor panel to restore electricity to our star gazing deck. That didn’t fix the issue so we had to replace the breaker.

We helped Ace, the Aussie Shepherd, find his family and return home.

We sold and loaded a rick of maple to a bbq pit master from Neosho Mo.

We started a 2 day yard drainage and back filling project. (Pics coming soon)
We would be finished with the drainage project, but we had another emergency water leak to go repair.

We showed up at 6:00PM to find and fix a water leak. We had the leak located and repaired by 8:00PM.

Friday, we delivered and installed 5+ tons of River gravel in Columbus Kansas. Every scoop shoveled into a wheel barrow and placed by hand.

We also repaired the clothes dryer because it started to squeak and squeal. Took about 15 minutes, 30 if you count the how-to video I watched.

Today, we are taking the day off to watch the MSSU Lions take on Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar MO.

Monday when it dries up we will be back at it to finish the drainage project so we can get started on phase two. We will be creating a backyard fire pit Oasis with river gravel walking paths that connect the guest house, shed, and fire pit area to the main house. We will also be placing some large chert boulders!!!!

Our most recent driveway that Earthworks completed…customers requested that we come up with some new ideas to fix the drainage issues on their driveway. We started with grading the existing rock, sloping the bottom half of the driveway and crowning for optimal drainage as well as adding several dump trucks of rock to build up areas that had over time washed out. We built beautiful decorative drainage ditches with some large limestone that the customer already had on hand. We added more rock at the threshold of the garage to build up and level the area so there is no longer a bump when trying to park and a new drainage across the top to ensure all water from the highest elevation will drain off properly and allow the driveway and rock to stay in place without washing out.
