Not every gate is just a gate.
Some are the first thing people see when they come home.
Some have to hold up to weather, daily use, and a dog that’s smarter than the last design.
This one started out tired and undersized. I rebuilt it into something stronger, taller, cleaner, and a lot more intentional — with custom cedar work, solid framing, and careful fitting to make it feel like it belonged there all along.
I’m proud of this one because it wasn’t about rushing through another small job. It was about taking the time to make something simple look right.
That’s the kind of work I like doing most — practical craftsmanship that also feels good to look at.
