For the safety of our employees and the families we serve, KC Wilbert Vault will not be setting tents at any of our services today. This decision was based on the high winds forecasted for today. Thank you for understanding as we strive to keep everyone safe.
..HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...
* WHAT...Southerly winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts 60 to 65 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Kansas and north central, northwest and west central Missouri.
* WHEN...From 9 AM Wednesday to midnight CST Wednesday night.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will potentially blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive.
