As fire alarm technology evolves, choosing the right system is about more than replacing a panel. It’s about finding the right level of protection, connectivity, and scalability for your facility.

EST4 is Edwards’ advanced networked life safety platform, designed for mid-to-large and complex applications. It offers enhanced networking, advanced cybersecurity, high-fidelity audio messaging, flexible expansion, and backward compatibility with existing Edwards technology.

Edge is designed specifically for mid-sized applications, offering a simpler, scalable solution with intuitive touchscreen operation, peer-to-peer networking, streamlined maintenance, and faster installation without the complexity of a large-scale system.

Currently operating an EST3?

EST4 is the migration path. Its forward-migration capabilities allow supported existing EST3 infrastructure and devices to be incorporated into the new system. Edge is not a direct EST3 conversion option.

No matter the system, a properly designed and maintained fire alarm system provides early detection, clear emergency notification, system monitoring, and a coordinated response when it matters most.
