Will, I really appreciate this review.

I normally don’t take on dryer vent cleanings, but after seeing the previous cleaning left you with an inoperable booster fan and incomplete airflow, I couldn’t just swap parts and walk away.

Even after installing the new booster fan and lint trap, I ran my borescope through the duct and could still see buildup. That’s when it became about doing the job completely, not just technically.

So we cleaned it fully, bottom to top and top to bottom. It took some patience and improvising, but the airflow is now exactly where it should be.

It means a lot that you trusted the workmanship enough to enroll your AC system in our Perfected Performance Plan. Preventative maintenance is how we keep systems efficient, safe, and reliable year-round.

Some days in this industry are long.
Some are longer than 22 hours.

Yesterday started at 4 a.m. with a full system install to get a family cold air. From there, we ran a geothermal “no cool” call and didn’t walk back in the door until midnight. Bed at 2 a.m.

Four hours later, we’re back up and at it.

This is what commitment looks like in the HVAC world. It’s early mornings, brutal attics, late nights, and doing whatever it takes to restore comfort. No shortcuts. No “we’ll get to it next week.” When it’s hot in Texas, cold air matters.

Grateful to have David alongside me yesterday. My former boss, but more than that my friend, and a true craftsman in this trade. Between the two of us, we bring nearly 70 years of HVAC experience to the job site. That’s decades of installs, geothermals, zoning systems, two-stage optimization for humidity control, and detailed maintenance done the right way.

HVAC strength isn’t built in a gym. It’s earned in extreme attics, on rooftops, and in mechanical rooms when systems are down and families are uncomfortable. It’s pushing through fatigue because the job isn’t finished until the air is right.

Today? More no-cools. More geothermals. More fine-tuning two-stage systems for performance and humidity control.

While we quoted the OEM ClimateMaster pump replacement option, I completely understand needing to stay within a certain budget. The Geo-Flo FP2 flow center you chose is a solid solution, and I’m glad you were able to get everything replaced and back in operation. Up on a rooftop today and someone asked me a question I get all the time…

“Why do you repair so many units instead of just replacing them?”

Simple.

Because I do what makes sense for my client. Every time. All the time.

This unit is on a commercial leased space. My client doesn’t own the building. They may move next year. They may build their own space. If they drop serious money on a brand-new rooftop unit today… it stays here when they leave. They can’t take it with them.

So why would I push a replacement if a proper repair gets them safely through?

There’s a hard truth in this industry:
Some technicians won’t repair certain failures.
Some don’t know how.

At a recent networking group, I shared the heart behind Perfected Air Solutions — and it’s rooted in doing work with purpose, not shortcuts.

True comfort in a home isn’t just about temperature. It’s about balance.

There are two kinds of heat at work in your home:
• Sensible heat — what you feel as temperature
• Latent heat — moisture in the air, or humidity

You can set a thermostat to 72°, but if humidity is too high, your home will still feel warm, sticky, and uncomfortable. If humidity is too low, it can feel dry, drafty, and harsh.

When temperature and humidity are kept in the right ranges, comfort improves, systems run more efficiently, and indoor air feels noticeably better — even at higher thermostat settings.

That’s why we measure more than just temperature. We evaluate humidity, airflow, and overall system performance to make sure your equipment is doing what it was designed to do.

Se esperan temperaturas bajo cero en los próximos días. Ahora es el momento de preparar su hogar antes de que llegue el frío.

Algunos pasos sencillos pueden ayudar a prevenir tuberías congeladas, rupturas de líneas de agua y fallas inesperadas:

✅ Deje gotear los grifos, especialmente los que están en paredes exteriores o en pisos superiores
✅ Cubra las llaves exteriores y desconecte las mangueras
✅ Abra las puertas de los gabinetes debajo de los lavabos para que circule el aire caliente
✅ Mantenga el termostato ajustado a 65°F o más, incluso si sale de casa
✅ Sepa dónde se encuentra la válvula principal de cierre de agua

🔥 Consejo importante de HVAC:
