A customer brought a challenge into the shop today: an Everest Mod 90, seemingly with an indexing malfunction. My guess is that someone took the platen out & then the whole thing went SPROING!!! and they lost two of the pieces before they could get it back together - i had to fabricate a part for the platen clutch plate, and another for the index pawl arm pivot. I’d never seen one of these fantastic beasts in person before, so it was an extra special treat for me :)

i couldn’t resist heading to the park for pics of my paint job on this sweet SC 4-series ‘AR’ Sterling, which was the the crossover model to the 5-series body style & keytops. i reeeeeally like how this one turned out, and hope to do more of them :)
