Shewwwwww, Bennie Duck gonna really be looking different in his XJ when it leaves the garage after this weekend. Thank you for your business here at C-Mac’s Customs & Welding. Been a lot going on here in the last couple weeks at cmacs. Almost got 1 jeep XJ wrapped up with an exo cage, and another top of one in the jig just about done to start another for a customer!! If you are a Jeep XJ owner, and just want the topper built and do your own thing on the sides and fender part we can build you just the topper! There are bars in the main locations on the EXO topper to be able to run from inside the cab to the outer exo topper for your triangulated support! Get with us for all your fab/welding needs!

Had a hobby stock come into the shop that needed the upper part of the cage cut out and redone in the worse way that was absolutely not safe. Got it all cut out, and replaced it all with .120 wall. When it comes to safety with cages/frames and bracing, I take this stuff very seriously but also like to be different with it when it comes to the “design” of things …. So here is the “almost finished” other than some little braces and putting the top back on.

We’ve been super busy playing catch up here lately at the shop and still not caught up! Got a couple of Hydro assist done on some jeeps, repaired a leaf spring hanger on a trailer.

Got some flat bed work to do on a truck, a cage to update/make safer in a race car, a car to update etc.To do list is always full of jobs.

I’ve always wanted to build a exo cage around a jeep, wether in be my personal, or for someone’s else. Well today woke up and started around 8:30 this morning and here is the finished product (other than taking it off and welding the back side of everything and powder coat. Built this to fully take off, with front part to fill come off separately from the rest. A total of 10 bungs to unbolt and remove with ease.

Beadlock rings up next! Can anyone take a wild guess what the powder coat color is going to be??
