An update on our project located at the top of a mountain in Blount County! This custom ICF home is coming along well with the outdoor stone beginning to be placed and the indoor drywall going up. The large, light-filled foyer received a beautiful tongue-and-groove ceiling to perfectly match the natural view outside. More to come on this project and others as we wrap up a busy summer and look towards the fall season.

An update on our project located at the top of a mountain in Blount County. Here you can see the roof and window placements, framing, some of the spray foam insulation, and the outdoor siding and concrete finishes. Many of these choices were made with energy efficiency in mind, complimentary to the ICF walls. We look forward to sharing more on this project soon!

We are grateful to share a recent project that is now in the final stages of work. This project, located at the top of a mountain in Blount County, was an exciting build with beautiful views. Here you can see the first few months of work, including the slab, footings, and ICF foundation walls. One reason the owner chose ICF is the strength and durability provided when facing the mountain’s wind and weather. We will share more on the project’s current state soon!

We are honored to have been presented the award of Grand Champion - Best Concrete Home by Tennessee Concrete Association alongside several great colleagues. Thank you to everyone who led and contributed to the Windows to the Mountain project: Gordon Design & Planning, Payton & Janessa Abernathy, Blalock & Sons, and our incredible team at Parks ICF.

"Windows to the Mountains is a highly complex, multi-level ICF project that overcame significant design and structural challenges through innovative engineering. The home features tall ICF walls, irregular geometry with multiple corners, and extensive glazing to capture panoramic views. Using 3D modeling, hybrid ICF-to-deck anchoring methods, and precision concrete placement, the team achieved structural integrity, energy efficiency, and architectural elegance."

It was our great pleasure to be part of the construction of the children’s center for Wallace Memorial Baptist Church, alongside Whitson Construction. The energy efficiency, strength, and resilience of ICF will benefit the use of this building for years to come. We look forward to seeing all that is accomplished within it!
