Yet another out of order, late to the party post 😆. Huge shoutout to yet again one of my best customers! Reed Price brought this in as it was his son's truck and it had been involved in a minor collision with a stationary object that looks something like a utility pole. Quick assessment of the damage yielded that while some of it would take some major work, it was preferred to just get it back on the road. A radiator replacement was first on the list as the old one had been tweaked and leaked all the coolant out. Replaced with a good unit, and topped off with Prestone Chrysler compatible coolant we were able to move onto the rest of the issues. Starting with replacing the bent and obliterated steering linkage from MOOG, we were able to not only replace the damaged parts, but also bring the steering system up to date with a 4th gen steering conversion! Complete with tie rod bar, drag link, steering stabilizer and pitman arm, the complete kit is a bolt in process. After that, the bumper brackets were sorted out, lined up, and installed along with the bumper, ensuring to make everything look appealing to the eye. Once all of that was completed and aligned, took the vehicle on a test drive and everything checks out great!

Thank you Andrew Rupert for entrusting us with your vehicle! Unfortunately due to the circumstances around the season and timing of this repair, we were unable to grab pictures of the new components and after repair photos. Not to mention the truck really kept trying to tell us it didn't want to leave. However, this bad boy came in for a knocking sound emanating from the top end of the engine. This particular 05 F-250 had the 5.4 3V V8 with the notorious cam phaser issues. Recommendations were to do cam phaser limiters, along with new timing chains, guides, and sprockets from Cloyes and all related gaskets by MAHLE USA. Also a shoutout to Western Motorsports for the cam phaser limiters. This job definitely was no small job. Especially since she fought hard the entire way. The front accessories were removed, as well as the timing cover and valve covers. A quick inspection yielded no issues with the valvetrain, so only the timing system was removed after being set to proper timing marks. After verifying the new components were installed correctly, the removed components were cleaned and reinstalled. A quick oil change utilizing WIX Filters and Schaeffer's Oil and she was good to go. To make a long story short as there is so much more to this particular story, once assembled and tuned, the vehicle was run to verify. Any minor issues were addressed as she put up a decent fight. Outside of that, the vehicle is purring like a kitten. Thank you again Andrew for your business! We hope the truck serves you well for years to come!

Long time overdue on this one! Huge thanks to Lexi Hopwood for bringing us her 2013 Volkswagen Beetle TDI! Some minor fabrication, one heck of a pothole, and some upgrade work with a PCM recalibration done by the knowledgeable Malone Tuning Ltd. via TuneZilla Pro, this bug was back on the road better than ever! Breathing better, sounding better, better mileage, and much better fuel mileage and turbo whistle! We can't say enough how much we appreciate the business! Also a big shoutout to Great White North Diesel as always!

Big thanks to Clu Wyrick for the repeat business! This time around was a mobile service call for a broken bolt extraction in the timing gear housing of this CAT 416B. As the bolt is one of the main anchor points for the alternator, the customer complaint also included that the new batteries seemed rather weak at starting the ole girl, however it was believed to be due to the alternator mounting situation. Thankfully a couple left handed drill bits and a right angle drill adaptor made short work of the broken fastener! Out with the old and in with the new after a quick trip to the shop for a bolt we had on hand to replace it with! Once reassembled charging voltage was verified and the backhoe was right back to work!
