Regional Rural Technical Center

Regional Rural Technical Center We have five programs at the RRTC in LaHarpe, KS. Welding, Construction Technology, and Health Occupations are offered through Neosho County Community College.

Wind Energy is offered through Cloud County, and Flint Hills offers Automotive Tech. With the generosity of Ray Maloney and the persistence of area school officials and colleges, the Regional Rural Technology Center is now available.

Along with Cloud Community College instructor Paul Miller, students from the wind program are in Parsons, KS today at Tank Connection, receiving in-person OSHA training, soft skills training, and an industry tour. Many people don’t know that southeast Kansas is the storage tank capital of the world, and that tank manufacturing is one of Kansas’s largest exports. Kansas HOSA is a student organization that is 100% focused on health care. It serves more than 1,000 students in over 40 chapters.
