On site today, on a portable generator, we noticed that the power cord and 50amp outlet was an unsafe combination of parts. Functional but unsafe.
If you are going to install a generator plug on your house, contact qualified technicians/electricians. Its cheap insurance.

Knowing how to make something work is one thing. Knowing how to make it safe and knowing how to keep it safe when it fails is another thing.

While performing a full service on this dual fuel generator, the battery was found to be dead. A common occurrence with these.
The client was not only gracious enough to let us change their battery. But also to let us solve an age old problem… static discharge.
