The customer reported an issue with a leak originating from the circular air vent. In response, we took proactive measures by carefully removing a portion of the shingles on both sides of the vent to accurately identify and address the problem. Fortunately, the warm weather, despite the wind, facilitated a swift completion of the necessary repairs. To enhance the integrity of the installation, we applied roofing cement to secure the shingles effectively against the high winds.

It is important to note that improperly sealed torn shingles and reinstalled metal vents have the potential to cause pinhole leaks, underscoring the importance of thorough sealing during such repairs.
