Pleased to see these three adornments at their final home. The door knocker, mantel rod and ash guard are all from The is done with cupic nitrate to give it a rich green undertone brought out by the various textures.

Today was the last day of the summer with my apprentice James from American College of the Building Arts An intelligent, thoughtful and naturally talented young man. He will go far in the blacksmithing arts.

Or at least he would have. Unfortunately, I had to destroy him so he wouldn't divulge my secrets. Farewell young buck !

One detail of many. 100% traditionally wrought scrollwork. A combination of acanthus and blow over leaves mixed with beveled scrolls. Excited to see it finished.
