Introducing MTEC - A Michigan-based company committed to delivering the best in engineering, electrical, and automation solutions to our clients, helping farms maximize efficiency and bring the future of agriculture to life.

Scott Myers and Garrett Tetil have been friends for as long as they can remember. As teenagers, they both worked on Scott’s family farm, which included a sizable grain system—a place where they first discovered how technology could dramatically improve farming operations.

Over time, each followed his passion. Scott found his calling as an electrician and Garrett as an electrical engineer. Their conversations soon turned to the future of farming. They saw the demand for more efficient, technologically advanced operations—especially in large-scale farm and grain systems. Realizing they could combine Scott’s hands-on expertise with Garrett’s engineering insight, they formed Myers-Tetil Engineering & Controls (MTEC).

What started as two friends lending each other a hand on a family farm has now grown into a partnership that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in agricultural automation. At MTEC, we believe in hard work, reliable service, and a commitment to our roots—values that have guided Scott and Garrett from their earliest days in Michigan’s Thumb.
