Sometimes the tool you need is the one you make.

I needed a straight line down the outside of a round pipe, so I made these end caps with flat bases and a notch for string.

Insert one into each end, sit both bases flush on the table, and pull the string tight. The notches line up, giving me a straight guide from end to end.

A simple little tool that makes a repeat job easier. 👌

As the owner of a small gate company who builds unique waterfall gates, I listen to your feedback.

Your house called. Its looking for curb appeal.

Waterfall gate. Not Watergate. The only thing circulating here is the water. 😂

Water flows inside the frame and cascades from rail to rail before returning to the reservoir to do it all again.

A custom gate. A working water feature. And a first impression that gives people something to talk about before they even reach your front door.

At Vegas Gates Technologies, we believe your entrance deserves as much thought as the home behind it. Our waterfall gates are built for your opening, with digital locks and smart features available to fit how you live.

We ship nationwide. DM us—what can we design for you?

Million-dollar home. Ordinary gate. One of those has to change. 💧

They said a waterfall gate would splash everywhere. So we engineered one that doesn't. Would you want this at your front entrance?

Apparently, our custom ladders keep getting installed as luxury waterfall gates, so we’re building another one. Full reveal coming soon.

For centuries, gates have been built to do one thing: control access.

The materials improved. The operators got smarter. The homes changed.

But the gate itself?

For the most part, we’ve just kept redesigning the same idea.

So we decided to put something inside the gate that hasn’t been there before. We put water inside the gate.

Step forward 326 years.

Waterfall Gates by Vegas Gates.

What can we design for you?

There have been some pretty harsh comments about our Waterfall Gates lately. Aside from feeding the algorithm even harder, they just make me push harder to get orders shipped and new models launched.

And this is what that process actually looks like.

Innovation doesn’t always look like innovation while it’s happening. Sometimes it looks like building an idea, testing it, and watching it do exactly what you didn’t want it to do.

This test failed.

But every failed test exposes a problem, eliminates an idea, and gets us closer to the next version.

We’re not trying to build one gate that gets attention online. We’re working to create an entirely new category of architectural gates and water features.

This one didn’t work.

So we change it and try again.

That’s how innovation happens.
