Schedule: This is a full-time, 1st shift position, Monday-Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:
• Must follow basic instructions for operations such as:
• Glass Prep for Small Bore and Large Bore Glass
• Glass Shrinking
• Glass Cutting
• Glass Grinding
• Hot Pinning
• Glass Polishing
• Glass Decaling
• Performs cleaning operation of parts
• Visual Inspection of Parts
• General inspection
• Reads blueprint or work order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures and gauges
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers
• Documents completion of operations on the production traveler
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills such as the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach and lift.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
