Things to remember as the weather gets colder and we crank up the heat:

•If your thermostat is ran by batteries now is a good time to replace them

•Make sure you have checked your furnace filter and replace if needed

•Make sure your vents are not blocked and are clear of debris

•Your flame sensors are clean

•Replace and test your carbon monoxide detector

•Remove any items stored close to the furnace

•If you have an older system now is an excellent time to get estimates to replace it

Who’s excited for warmer weather!? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Any time is better than never, but spring is the ideal time to budget for an air conditioning tune-up. Early air conditioner maintenance can prevent many small problems from becoming more expensive repairs later on. Furthermore, if your air conditioner check up is scheduled for spring, you’ll also beat the long waits that come with peak season!!

SNOW STORM HARPER IS ON THE WAY!
Please remember to keep your PVC flue pipes clear of snow. Any obstruction of the intake or exhaust pipes will cause your furnace to shut down. Also keep the area around your heat pump clear of snow to keep your heat pump running efficiently. We hope everyone is able to stay safe and warm!
Do not use gas, propane, or kerosene heaters inside unless they are properly vented!!!
