Yesterday was the Southeast Community College Land Surveying/GIS/Civil Engineering Technology’s Workforce Leadership Team (WLT) Meeting. These WLT meetings bring employers, industry experts, and college leaders together to discuss hiring needs and workforce trends, provide input on curriculum, training and credentials, assist in shaping programs to better prepare students, and to build relationships between education and industry.
SCC college leaders were excited to announce that Thomas Dzuris has been hired as the new full-time program instructor! He begins this new chapter next week and joins Instructor Scott Bashore. Thomas comes to SCC from the State of Nebraska Department of Transportation’s Geodetics team.
