Industrial Painter

Kaser Painting, Inc is now hiring experienced and non-experienced commercial, residential, and industrial painters for new construction projects. Painter will be working on new large commercial projects throughout Lincoln and surrounding areas. Kaser Painting, Inc focuses on providing a good and safe work environment with endless possibilities for growth. Job Description

- Work with other team members prepping, brushing, rolling, and spraying all kinds of coatings
- General Job Organization & Cleanup
- Normal Working hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm M-F, plus overtime

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- 2 to 3 years of commercial painting experience is preferred but not required
- Follow safety procedures
- Ability to brush, roll, and spray all kinds of paints & coatings
- Ability to work on ladders and lifts, interior and exterior
- Physical ability to lift and carry materials up to 50lb
- Willing to follow instructions and learn from other team members
- Attendance and punctuality are very important
- Good work ethic and attitude

We are seeking an estimator to join our office management team at Kaser Painting, Inc! We are a small, closely held family business that has been growing every year since 1987.

Compensation: $22/hr - $26/hr starting, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
• Analyze sets of construction plans
• Create a takeoff from construction plans to determine labor and materials needed for the project
• Create scope of work for each project
• Analyze addendums and change orders
• Request pricing from vendors
• Create submittals
• Request drawdowns
• Color code plans
• Perform job close out paperwork
• Create warranty paperwork
• Communicate scope of work with KPI's field supervisor

Qualifications:
• Experience with computer aided takeoff/estimating programs is required
• Experience with G suite programs (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive) is required
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat DC and pdf manipulation is required
• Strong attention to detail: Triple check your work
• Able to copy, print, scan
• Able to name/organize files and folders on computer
• Able to upload/download files
• Able to use USB flash drives to transfer files
• Able to use external hard drives for backups and file transfers

Industrial Painter

We are seeking individuals with experience in commercial and residential painting to join our team! You will perform finish work relating to commercial and residential painting.

Responsibilities:
Prepare van and tools before leaving for job site
Read & follow room finish schedule
Prep, sand, tape, and mask substrates to prepare for paint
Stain, Seal, and Finish wood substrates
Prep, Prime, and Paint ceilings, walls, door frames, window frames, steel structure
Communicate job progress with office

Qualifications:
Must be able to follow a specific set of instructions
Previous commercial/residential painting experience is preferred
Manual labor or construction experience is required
Ability to read/understand construction plans is preferred
Ability to lift 50lbs
Ability to work in hot summer conditions

Can trim be painted/stained in place? Yes!

But it typically is more cost effective to get it painted/stained ahead of installation.

Our preference is painting/staining trim in our in house spray booth ahead of installation.
