🔨 17.5m² EXTENSION PROJECT 🔨

We’re pleased to be completing this 17.5m² extension in Tealby, creating a new studio bedroom with an en suite to meet our customer’s family requirements.

This project required a more specialised foundation design than a standard extension, incorporating a structural ring beam to suit the site conditions and building requirements.

Works completed so far include:

🔹 Site preparation and excavation
🔹 Foundation works completed
🔹 Structural ring beam installed and concreted
🔹 Ongoing build-up towards the next stage of construction

Once complete, the combination of stonework and brickwork will create a stunning finish that complements the character and high standards of Tealby village perfectly.

📍 IMMINGHAM – HYBRID SELF BUILD PROJECT

🔨 OFF-GRID HYBRID HOME CONSTRUCTION 🔨

This project is something a little different from a standard self-build.

We’re pleased to be involved in the construction of a fully self-sufficient hybrid home in Immingham, designed to significantly reduce utility costs and operate independently from the grid.

The customer originally started this build last year but encountered difficulties due to ground levels, flooding, and ongoing weather conditions. We have now been brought in to complete all works up to watertight stage, where the customer’s own expertise will then take over.

Works completed so far include:

🔹 Removal of all materials and waste from site
🔹 Excavation and removal of 80 tonnes of soil
🔹 Installation and levelling of 60 tonnes of clean hardcore at a depth of 150mm
🔹 25 tonnes of sand blinding installed at 50mm depth
🔹 DPM membrane installed across the full site area
🔹 Installation of external polystyrene hard wall insulation
🔹 Installation of internal polystyrene separation strips

Next stage of works:

🔹 Installation of 300mm polystyrene build-up to create the floor structure
🔹 Installation and fabrication of structural ring beam
🔹 Concrete foundation pour to complete the substructure ready for the next phase of the build

We are pleased to confirm that we are now accredited installers of fire curtain and fire-rated partition systems, working in partnership with Firefly.

This enables us to deliver compliant, high-performance fire protection solutions across both residential and commercial developments.

Scope of works includes:

🔹 Installation of fire-rated partition systems to walls and ceilings
🔹 Fire curtain installation for concealed and open-plan fire compartmentation
🔹 Integration with existing structures and services
🔹 Full installation carried out by trained, in-house operatives

Key benefits and compliance:

🔹 Assists in achieving required fire resistance ratings (30, 60, 90 minutes)
🔹 Limits the spread of fire and smoke between compartments
🔹 Protects designated escape routes in accordance with building regulations
🔹 Suitable for use in care homes, residential developments, and commercial environments

🔨 GARAGE ALTERATION PROJECT 🔨

We’re pleased to be completing a full garage alteration in Tealby, transforming the space from start to finish to create a more modern and functional layout, including converting the existing flat roof to a new pitched roof.

We’re delighted this is the first of three projects for this customer, with a new 140 square metre resin driveway to follow.

Works carried out include:

🔹 Removal of existing flat roof
🔹 Removal of all timber joists
🔹 Lowering and rebuilding brickwork with 4 additional courses to gain height
🔹 Installation of roof trusses
🔹 Caber deck boarding to create additional storage space
🔹 12mm ply ceiling installation
🔹 New garage doors fitted
🔹 New personal and patio doors installed
🔹 Office space fully plastered
🔹 Cladding to be installed to the front of the garage for a modern finish
🔹 Main garage area finished with an epoxy resin floor for a clean, standout finish

This project is being completed within a 3-week turnaround, with finishing works to follow.

All trades are carried out in-house from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for the client.

We’re pleased to be working on a 32m² extension at Stonehaven Care Home in Quadring, helping to meet increasing demand by creating two additional bedrooms — one with a wet room and one with an en suite.

Works carried out so far include:

🔹 Removal of existing wall
🔹 Site clearance and preparation
🔹 Excavation to required depth to complete a traditional oversite
🔹 1m x 0.6m inspection carried out for building control to review original footings

All trades on this project are being carried out in-house from start to finish, providing the client with a smooth, hassle-free experience.

We’re pleased to have completed the installation of an additional soakaway system at Little Brocklesby Care Home, improving the performance of the existing drainage system.

Works carried out included:

🔹 Excavation of the designated area
🔹 Trench installation from the existing soakaway to the new system
🔹 Base layer of 150mm clean aggregate
🔹 Installation of 24 soakaway crates, fully wrapped in geo-textile membrane to ensure protection and efficiency
🔹 Finished with a further 150mm layer of clean aggregate to maximise performance

This project was essential in ensuring the safety of all residents and staff, eliminating stagnant water and allowing the drainage system to operate at its full potential.

We’re pleased to have completed the installation of a temporary road and site entrance for a development of 4 new homes in Boston, Lincolnshire, including a 9m x 20m chalk pad for a temporary home.

Works carried out included:

🔹 Excavation to a depth of 300mm
🔹 Installation of geo-textile membrane
🔹 Base layer of 4-inch chalk
🔹 Capped with road planings for a durable finish

In addition to this, we relocated both water and electric services to provide the customer with full utilities to a temporary on-site home.

We’re delighted to be completing a fantastic barn conversion project in East Keal, Lincolnshire, transforming these properties into high-quality rental homes.

Recent progress on site includes:

🔹 Internal studwork completed and insulated with 150mm cavity slab
🔹 All internal floors insulated
🔹 First fix plumbing carried out
🔹 First fix electrics installed
🔹 Internal finished floors cast
🔹 Start of external paving

This project is progressing well, and we’re looking forward to continuing works over the coming weeks as we bring everything together.

This is just the first stage of a much larger project.

From there, we’ll be carrying out a full refurbishment, including a new extension, drainage system, block paving upon completion, and a new slate roof — transforming the entire property into their forever dream home.

All trades are carried out in-house from start to finish, ensuring a seamless process and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
