Even the smallest rooms deserve a little personality.

As part of a whole-home remodel, this powder bathroom got a fresh new look. We kept the existing footprint and added a rich paint color, new vanity, statement mirror, and updated lighting.

The result? A totally refreshed space that feels right at home with the rest of the remodel.

Asked ChatGPT what TV show we belong on based on a photo of us, and clearly Jeff and I are ready for HGTV.

There's just something about a perfectly styled bookshelf.

Little treasures, collected pieces, finishing touches that make a house feel like your home. Finding those details and bringing them together is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

Something you may not know about 11 North? You're looking at the entire design team. It's me. 🙋🏼‍♀️

From the first selections to the final styling, I'm personally involved in every detail. Every piece of furniture, every fabric, every little accessory. I'm the one sourcing, selecting, coordinating, arranging, fluffing pillows, making beds, and moving that one little object three inches to the left until it's exactly where it belongs. (Occasionally with an extra set of hands during installation. )

It's a lot of hats to wear, but I truly love what I do.

I love getting to know my clients, understanding how they live, and creating spaces that feel beautiful, thoughtful, and entirely their own.

It's personal to me because your home is personal to you. And I think that's what makes 11 North a little different.

FOUND FRIDAY | A Little Local History 🗺️

I love a good find that’s equal parts beautiful and meaningful!

This vintage-inspired Lake of the Ozarks map from Kansas City's Gallup Maps is more than just wall art. With over 80 cove names, mile markers, and little bits of lake history, it's a conversation piece that celebrates a place so many of us love.

The aged-paper look and muted blues and greens make it feel like something collected over time, which is exactly the kind of character I love bringing into a home.

FOUND FRIDAY!

I’ve been collecting these little vintage animal planters here and there over the last year, they have turned my kitchen window into one of my favorite spots in the house.

They're a little goofy and mismatched, but that's part of the charm.

I love a beautifully designed room, but I think it’s the weird little things you find, keep, and collect over time that make a home feel like yours.

Give me an old animal planter and a plant I can keep alive, and I’m happy. 😂

Same footprint. Very different bathroom.

Not every remodel needs walls to come down. For this one, we kept the existing layout and focused the budget where it would make the biggest impact — new finishes, fixtures, lighting and a much-needed goodbye to that wallpaper.

Working with what’s already there can keep a renovation budget in check and still completely transform a space.

It all started with Pac-Man.

The homeowners had a Pac-Man console they wanted to work into the house, and the bunk room felt like the perfect place for it. From there, we leaned into the nostalgia. I sourced vintage Lake of the Ozarks postcards, an old Ozarks pennant, a slalom ski and added a few perfectly campy details that brought the whole room to life.

The result: a little bit lake house, a little bit summer camp, and the sweetest room for a pair of siblings. 🏕️🤍

This bedroom has always been a favorite. Navy blue was carried throughout the home and mixed with warm neutrals, but this room got its own personality with Sherwin-Williams Sea Salt walls — the prettiest soft green.

Just a little accessorizing went a long way here. Lots of texture, a few quirky details, and suddenly the room felt complete.

Proof that “lake house” doesn’t have to mean putting lake house on the walls. 😉

A new little Friday series for things I’ve found, sourced, saved or used in projects that are worth sharing.

Starting with one of my favorite workhorses: the console table.

Perfect for an entry, an empty wall, behind a sofa, or anywhere you need a little function + a place to add personality.

When styling one, I usually think in layers: something with height, something organic, something collected, and plenty of breathing room. Fewer, larger pieces almost always feel more intentional than lots of little ones.
