Aug 22 race recap
After working on car all week, headed to Thundermountain
Qualified 10th out of 21 cars
Started 5th in heat and finished 6th
Started 11th in feature and finished 7th
Car and driver are getting better, still along ways to go to run upfront, will make some more changes
Anybody got any advice on how to get a camaro to hookup?

Hobbystock update
Got the hobbystock out for a few more races and it hasn't been good. Worst handling car i have ever driven.
BUT, I have found a bunch of problems with the car and getting them fixed up for the weekend, hopefully get the gear changed before friday so can run Rockcastle

Its been a week!
Sold our FWD car last friday night, then traveled 16 hours to east coast of north carolina to buy a hobby stock.
Work has been rough this week, leaving very little time to work on car, mounted up some dot tires and went to Thundermountain to get some seat time.
Car ran good, has some handling issues or driver issues šŸ¤·
But luck was on our side and the race turned into a demolition derby and ended up 2nd in the feature.
Car has speed, but definitely needs some work

July 4th long weekend results
Headed on over to Rockcastle speedway for some Thursday night racing, went up against some very stout scdra cars
Qualified 6th
Started 6th in feature and finished 6th
Friday- ended up stuck at work
Saturday- Thundermountain
Horrible qualifying effort, 9th
Started 5th in heat, finished 3rd
Started 5th in feature and finished 4th
Car is for sale, as we plan on switching gears and moving over to the hobbystock division

Car was fast last night at Rockcastle, although the end result would have been better, but rear axle got bent during a 3 wide encounter on lap 1, ended up with too much rear steer and ended up 5th.
Qualified 3rd overall in a very stout field

Embarrassing, that sums up last night's performance at smoky Mountain.
We did learn some things, and will not try this setup again
Make some changes and head to Rockcastle or Thundermountain tonight
