You Maintain Your Car. You Service Your A/C. Why Not Maintain Your Roof? 🏠🔨
Think about it.
You change the oil in your vehicle instead of waiting for the engine to fail. You service your A/C system instead of waiting until it’s 100° outside and it quits working. You maintain appliances, plumbing, and other parts of your home because preventative maintenance is almost always cheaper than waiting for something to break.
Your roof shouldn’t be any different.
In roofing, everyone is quick to talk about roof sales, insurance claims, storm damage, and replacements. That’s a big part of the industry, but not every roof needs to be replaced.
I don’t just specialize in roof sales and insurance claims. I specialize in roofing as a whole — including repairs, preventative maintenance, and helping homeowners get as much life as possible out of the roof they already have.
That’s why I offer Roof Tune-Ups starting at $350.
A typical Roof Tune-Up can include:
🔨 Resealing caulking around metals, flashings, and roof penetrations
🎨 Repainting and touching up exposed roof metals
🍂 Blowing leaves, limbs, and debris off the roof
🧹 Blowing debris out of gutters
🛠️ Small, non-invasive repairs as needed
📸 A general roof inspection with a full photo report documenting its current condition
That photo report also gives you something extremely valuable: a dated record of your roof’s condition. If a storm comes through later, you have documentation showing what your roof looked like beforehand.
I also personally perform larger, invasive roof repairs when they’re needed. Those aren’t included in the standard tune-up, but if I find a bigger problem while I’m up there, I’ll document it, show you what I found, and give you options for getting it corrected.
Your roof sits outside 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. East Texas heat, UV exposure, wind, rain, hail, falling limbs, and temperature changes all take their toll. Sealants dry out. Paint deteriorates. Fasteners loosen. Small issues develop.
You wouldn’t drive 100,000 miles without changing your oil.
You wouldn’t expect your A/C to run forever without being serviced.
So why spend thousands of dollars on a roof and never maintain it?
Unless your plan is to replace your roof after every storm, a little preventative maintenance can go a long way toward extending its service life and catching problems before they become expensive repairs.

Not every roof inspection needs to turn into a sales pitch for a new roof.
Sometimes your roof doesn’t need replacing.
It just needs somebody to take care of it.
