Petroleum Construction Foreman/Supervisor

Construction - Working Foreman - (2+ years’ experience)

We are a construction company in the Petroleum Industry servicing gas stations and other fueling facilities looking for experienced self-motivated applicants familiar with general construction practices in fueling/petroleum industry. Our projects are located throughout the Washington, Oregon & Southern California area. Must have own basic hand tools. This is a full-time position and applicants must be available to work 6 days a week and overtime. Fueling experience required. This is a field position.

Positions available immediately.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience

Desired Experience / Skills: Working Foreman, Read Blueprints, Set Elevations, Set Forms, understanding of basic electrical & plumbing

Operate Skid Steer and other equipment, Pipe-fitter, Fueling, Demolition work

Lift heavy objects, walk and/or stand for extended periods of time, Operate Jack hammer, Willing to learn new trades, Current ICC certifications.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000-$150,000 per year based on experience

Benefits: 401(k), Health savings account

Schedule: 8-hour shift Day shift, Monday to Friday, Overtime, if needed Weekend availability, willing to travel

Work Location: Multiple locations, willing to travel.

We are a construction company in the Petroleum Industry servicing gas stations and other fueling facilities looking for experienced self-motivated applicants familiar with general construction practices. Our projects are located throughout the Southern California area. Must have reliable transportation and own basic hand tools. This is a full-time position and applicants must be available to work 6 days a week and overtime. Fueling experience preferred. This is a field position.

We are seeking a skilled, reliable construction worker to join our growing company.
In this position, you will be responsible for participating in a variety of building and construction projects in the petroleum retail industry.
You will build temporary and permanent structures, use a wide range of tools, and will have to work outdoors in a mixture of weather conditions.
Construction Worker Duties and Responsibilities.
Prepare construction site each day by preparing materials, tools, and equipment
Complete previous projects or receive new project instructions from construction manager or supervisor
Consult team leaders and manager on construction plans
Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
Ensure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space as needed
Provide assistance to company craft workers, electricians, pipe fitters as needed
Train on experienced tasks and learn new tasks from coworkers
Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
Construction Worker Requirements and Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
Four years of previous experience in construction preferred
State licensure to work with hazardous materials preferred but not required
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
