Winding up an AMAZING two week visit to Russia. First stop was recreating the Car Organ for the Moscow Polytechnic Museum science festival last weekend using 24 Soviet era classic cars! Here's a short film that VGIK film students Masha Evteyva and Anastasia Kuzyakova made about it. Couldn't have done it without the amazing help of Ryan Wilkinson, Richard R Adams, and the whole Polytechnic Museum team including our new friends Mikhail Yakovenko, Sergey Rykov, Марко Жарко, and so many more. But a most special, heartfelt and gracious thanks goes to Ivan Bogantsev who not only put together magnificent event, but invited us to come in the first place and had to put up with our American craziness! Syyn Labs is looking for help on a project in Santa Clara, supporting a new semi-permanent installation. It will run on Sundays from early September through mid-January. Mostly the job is setting it up the day before - refilling the CO2 tanks, making sure the compressor and generator is running, and ensuring that the various mechanical and electronic bits are doing what they should - then babysitting to make sure it stays operational.
