Good morning great people!
I figured I’d start today off with sharing something you may not have known about and myself!
When we FIRST began working together, I had just gotten my first job in the industry as the GM for a new Indie Label named Chamberlain Records. I was also their Studio Manager for their beautiful studio
The man whom gave me this first opportunity, my very first mentor is a great NY mutherFcker,amazing writer,producer & business man named ! I learned EVERYTHING I know about labels, indie,major,recording studios,the process of recording, mixing,mastering, mgmt all of it, and I soaked it all up like a sponge, gaining an even better ear than I already had.
At this time, the label had signed a girl whom some of you who are my age might remember from the show “The Real World: Hollywood”. Her name is and while filming ONthe show,she recorded her first song with Tomas & the amazing songwriter , which skyrocketed their careers, but T needed a GM, a face for the label.. and he found, yours truly!!
Fast forward a few months in and I finally play some of for him. You ALL already know what he thought and it was an instant, alright let’s co produce this next EP together for Brianna!!
And that’s what we did! Our very first project together as client/manager. I had been in LA for only 6 months and when I started my adventure, I literally had ONE DOLLAR. It was an ACTUAL dollar and a dream scenario.
Unfortunately, the album was never released or promoted due to some unforeseeable circumstances BUT the songs do exist!!
We never really told anyone, I’m not sure why but today I look back with gratitude, especially for you Tomas. We are doing good love and I will never forget that you were the 1st one that saw “IT” in me & Cut!!
