⚡️ I just built a ‘Lead Qualifying AI Agent’ and here’s why it’s a game-changer for any business owner that relies on leads to drive sales, book clients, or grow their service-based biz.
This is a full-on agentic workflow — meaning each module thinks, reacts, and passes intelligence to the next step, creating a smart system that works like a team member (not just a tool). 👇
🧠 Here’s how the system works:
1. Webhooks (Entry Point):
This is how leads enter the system — whether from a form, chatbot, or ad. It immediately catches the info the moment someone submits or sends a message.
2. HTTP Request:
Think of this as the “dispatcher.” It pings external services (like a booking calendar, lead enrichment tool, or CRM) to collect more context or check availability — so we’re not qualifying blindly.
3. OpenAI (The Brain):
This is where the magic happens. It analyzes the lead’s message or form response using GPT — decides what they want, how qualified they are, and what response makes sense. This step gives the workflow agency — it can think, not just react.
4. Data Store (The Memory):
The agent saves the lead info, decision made, and any history so we can track behavior or follow up later. This gives the workflow memory — making it smarter over time.
5. Gmail (The Messenger):
If the lead is good, it sends the details straight to your inbox (or your VA). This is the human handoff — but only after the heavy lifting is done.
6. Google Sheets (The Tracker):
Every lead — good or not — gets logged for transparency. You get a real-time sheet of everyone coming in, their score, and their details.
