High ceilings are beautiful. But what happens when your TV looks lost on the wall?

That's the challenge we took on with this $14,200 floor-to-ceiling media wall.

A spacious living room deserves a design that feels proportional to its size. So instead of leaving all that vertical space empty, we created a custom composition that brings the entire wall together.

The design features decorative PVC panels, custom shelves, semi-custom cabinets, and integrated LED lighting.

And the lighting deserves a special mention.

Every shelf has its own illumination, with adjustable brightness and separate lighting zones. The homeowner can highlight the full display or create a softer atmosphere with just a few lights on.

Some elements were prepared in our workshop before installation, helping everything come together on-site.

The result is a beautiful focal point that makes full use of the room's height while adding storage, texture, and atmosphere.

Do you love the dramatic look of floor-to-ceiling media walls, or do you prefer a more compact design?

What makes a custom media wall feel truly personal? Sometimes it's the choices made along the way.

For this project, our client explored several options before settling on the final design.

First, wall cabinets or full-size base cabinets?
We went with base cabinets for their generous storage and substantial built-in look.

Next, a painted center or stone?
Stone was the winner, bringing texture and a beautiful focal point to the room.

And finally, quartz or wood countertops?
Wood brought the warmth this design needed to balance the stone and cabinetry.

The finished combination: full-size base cabinets, a warm wood countertop, a stone center, and custom shelves.

Behind the scenes, our team prepared the cabinets and shelves in our workshop, while the stone installation was completed carefully in stages.

And here's our favorite part: the client has already reached out about another project. 🤍
That's the kind of trust we love building.

Would you ever paint your ceiling the same color as your walls?

Because on this project, we went all in.

The room started as a fairly neutral space with light walls, white trim, and a white ceiling. Instead of changing the layout or doing a major renovation, we focused on two things that could completely change its character: custom molding and color.

First, we added picture-frame molding to create more depth and architectural detail.

Then came the bold part.

The color didn’t stop at the walls. It continued across the molding, trim, doors, and the entire ceiling, creating a dramatic color-drenched effect.

Same room. Same layout. Very different atmosphere.

We have a feeling people are going to be divided on this one. 😁

Would you paint the ceiling too or keep it white?

19 feet of blank wall. Just 2 days to completely change it. 👀

This room already had a console with a fireplace, but with a wall this wide, everything around it still felt unfinished.

So instead of trying to fill all 19 feet with heavy cabinetry, we focused on creating balance.

A textured center section gives the TV area a clear focal point, while floating shelves on both sides create symmetry and make use of the empty space. Integrated lighting adds another layer of depth — especially in the evening.

The result feels much more complete without making the room feel overloaded.

Would you replace a perfectly good fireplace just to get a new media wall? 👀

For this project, we decided to keep what was already beautiful.

The home had a real gas fireplace with tile that worked perfectly with the interior. What the living room needed was a more complete setup - with storage, shelving, and a design that made the entire wall feel intentional.

The tricky part? There wasn’t much space to work with.

So we built custom cabinets, shelves, and a mantel to fit the narrow wall without overwhelming it. We also added warm lighting to the shelves for a softer, cozier feel.

Some elements were prepared in our workshop, while the final fitting and installation happened in the client’s home. With such a compact workspace, one craftsman handled the project.

Now we’re curious: would you keep the original fireplace and tile, or would you start from scratch?
