Hiring: Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
Salary: $65,000 to $100,000
Bairco Construction is a dynamic and growing construction firm specializing in civil, utility, and building trades. We work on exciting, high-impact projects for federal and state agencies across the Rocky Mountain region. Our headquarters sit right on the Wyoming/Montana border, offering both small-town community and big-project opportunity.
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented teammate who’s ready to jump in and make a difference. If you’re a recent graduate with a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field—or if you’ve built up strong skills through internships or hands-on experience—you could be a great fit.
What you’ll get to do:
Play a role in developing new business and building relationships with government agencies.
Review project plans and prepare cost estimates and proposals that directly influence winning work.
Collaborate with subcontractors, staff, and suppliers to keep projects on track.
Learn to create and manage budgets and schedules while working alongside experienced project managers.
Gain exposure to licensing, permitting, and design processes for Design-Build projects.
Help ensure top-quality results while keeping projects efficient and cost-effective.
Travel to job sites and meetings, seeing firsthand how your work translates into real-world impact.
Assist in managing project documentation such as submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
What we’re looking for:
A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
Someone comfortable with Microsoft Word/Excel (bonus points for AutoCAD or Surveying knowledge).
A self-starter with an eye for detail and organization.
Eager to learn, grow, and take on responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
