Service call on a Goodman 410A unit today. The unit wasn’t cooling and the indoor fan was constantly running. Found the unit to be undercharged and the blower fan control board was bad. Properly charged the unit and replaced blower fan control board. Blowing ice cold air once again.

Busy day for Hammock’s HVAC and Mechanical Services. Left the house at 7am and just now got home. First job of the day went back and installed the air handler that I removed Saturday for flooring repairs. Then I went and installed a thermostat on a 30 year old Goodman R22 unit. This unit was a little low on Freon, but I charged it up and brought it back to life.

Had a service call on 2 Trane R22 units, no cooling. One unit was a little undercharged and the other unit had a dead start capacitor and weak dual run capacitor. Properly charged units and replaced both capacitors. Ice cold air once again.

Evaporator coil swap out today. It was undersized customer bought the correct size so I swapped it out and got them going today. Had to dig deep on troubleshooting this one today but it didn’t whoop me. 2 ton Goodman unit.

Another no cooling service call today. Indoor and outdoor fan was running but the compressor wasn’t. Checked capacitor and it was bad, replaced capacitor unit started cooling. Goodman unit

No cooling service call today. Found a major leak right at the compressor and low pressure switch tripped. Repaired the leak, pulled vacuum, and recharged with R410A. 3 ton package unit.
