Our Story

Bellissimo H2O was started to bring attention to what you and your family are swimming in. The Clermont/Davenport area has a very saturated market of pool companies. This has lead to maintenance being offered for low prices and often, inexperienced/uneducated, low wage laborers are used to maintain your water chemistry. A pool will unfortunately stay “crystal clear” with enough chlorine, low pH and a filter, it is water after all (look at muriatic acid, thats clear!). All of this neglect to the water chemistry and balance inevitably leads to staining in your pool. Companies are telling homeowners that a resurfacing or acid wash is needed for simple staining due to the profit made(who wants to make a couple hundred when you can make a couple thousand mentality). Bellissimo H2O is happy to offer complete stain removals, without draining 10,000 gallons or more of water, in a 3 day process. There are other stain removals on the market but the “magical products” only dissolve the stain and keeps it suspended in the water, requiring you to use their product forever. Giant pool stores are not typically a benefit to the homeowner. They are designed to get you on their chemical regiment . Pool problems are often seen as dollar signs. Being told to “shock” the pool, weekly aides, algaecides, water clarifiers, are often just insurance policies. “Shocking” a pool for example is ONLY necessary when you have a high combined chlorine level (chloromines), or kill algae, no other reason. It is a slang term for having the water reach breakpoint chlorination level (being high enough to kill the chloromine). The problem is that all pools do not need it and you end up swimming in very high chlorine levels until it comes down (often is days, could be weeks). I am happy to bring some relief to an unethical market. Free advice always available.
