Building strong communities takes teamwork.

We're proud of Moore Fans employees Brian Husky and Mitchell Lockwood for volunteering with Parks Work and helping support the June 5 Park Party fundraiser for a new playground at Walt Disney Municipal Park.

Thanks to the generosity of volunteers, donors and attendees, including other members of the Moore Fans team, the fundraiser raised more than $9,500 to support the playground project.

Together, we're all helping invest in the future of Marceline and create new opportunities for families to gather, play and connect.

What makes an axial flow fan quiet?

One of the most effective ways to reduce fan noise is to move the required airflow at a lower RPM.

The Minimum Acoustic Geometry (MAG) fan was designed with that goal in mind. Features such as wider-chord blades, resilient blade mounts, robotic spot welds and flush rivets contribute to aerodynamic performance, durability and low-noise operation.

Looking for a low-noise fan solution? Contact Moore Fans to discuss your application and operating requirements.

Moore Fans recently attended the 42nd annual Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo (FEW) in St. Louis, where industry leaders, producers and suppliers gathered to discuss the future of ethanol production.

The conversations reinforced something we've seen for years: no matter how technology evolves, operational reliability remains the foundation that helps customers get the most from those advancements.

A few themes surfaced repeatedly in conversations throughout the week:

• A continued focus on improving plant efficiency and reliability

• Growing interest in automation, AI and advanced process control technologies

• New opportunities emerging through sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), coproducts and other evolving markets

As the ethanol industry continues to evolve, understanding these trends helps us better support the customers who rely on our fans.

After decades of working with industrial cooling systems, we've learned that some of the most expensive problems start as small vibrations.

A slight vibration today can lead to accelerated wear, increased maintenance or reduced equipment life tomorrow.

That's why vibration control has always been an important part of our fan designs.

In the 1990s, Moore Fans pioneered resilient-mounted blade technology to damp vibration, eliminate first-mode resonant frequencies and support reliable operation. The design helps it perform in demanding environments, including applications with high winds and variable-speed drives.

Because when it comes to industrial equipment, reliability isn't just about how equipment performs on day one. It's about how it performs years down the road.

Moore Fans is in St. Louis this week attending the International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo (FEW)!

Spencer is attending conference sessions, connecting with industry professionals and learning more about the latest innovations shaping the ethanol and biofuels industries.

Events like FEW help us stay ahead of evolving industry demands so we can continue delivering reliable solutions for ethanol producers and facilities across the industry.

If you're attending FEW this week, feel free to stop Spencer between sessions to say hello or reach out to schedule a time to connect while he's there.

We were honored to celebrate the Marceline R-V Schools Class of 2026 through two events this spring: the Academic Achievement Banquet and Senior Awards Night.

At the Academic Achievement Banquet, 37 outstanding students were recognized for their commitment to academic excellence. Supporting this tradition remains important to the Moore family and the Moore Fans team because we believe hard work and dedication deserve to be celebrated.

We also had the privilege of participating in Senior Awards Night, where the John and Donna Moore Family Foundation Scholarship was awarded. The scholarship provides $5,000 per year for up to four years to students pursuing degrees in engineering, mathematics, science and secondary math or science education.

Congratulations to this year’s recipient, Cody Rodgers, who plans to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy. We’re excited to see the impact he will make in his field and community.

When the air-cooled heat exchanger unit you are engineering depends on consistent cooling, the fan is often your most critical component. Therefore, the biggest question should be, "Is it performing at its peak?"

We engineer the right axial flow fan for the specific thermal and mechanical demands of the units you are building. Moore Fans delivers:

⚙️ Performance Matching: We align blade geometry to your system’s unique impedance to maximize airflow without overloading motors.

⚙️ Engineered for Resilience: We build our fans to handle real-world industrial stresses, from high-heat environments to continuous-load vibrations.

⚙️ Energy Optimization: We maximize aerodynamic efficiency to lower long-term energy costs for your end users.

⚙️ Acoustic Precision: We provide the airflow you need while helping your equipment meet environmental noise compliance.

These standards are reflected in the recommended ACHE-focused fan solutions featured in the photos below.

Please join us in congratulating the Class of 2026!

We’ve had the privilege of working alongside several talented high school and college seniors who interned with Moore Fans, and we’re excited to celebrate their big milestone this year:

🎓 Madelyn Burch
🎓 Emily Darling
🎓 Ainsley Whitis
🎓 Brenton Billups
🎓 Micah Novak

We’d also like to congratulate the children of our Moore Fans team members who recently graduated.

One piece of advice from Josh Moore for the Class of 2026: “Don’t take life too seriously. You’ll never get out alive.”

Congratulations again, graduates! We can’t wait to see what you achieve next.

From record heat waves to shifting wind loads and high-moisture conditions, the external environment often pushes cooling units to their absolute limit. When you are engineering a system meant to run for decades, standard fan specifications are often not enough to handle the reality of the field.

That's why we engineer for resilience at Moore Fans. We build our axial flow fans to handle the harsh realities of the applications you are designing by using marine-grade materials to resist corrosion and specialized designs that maintain performance under the extreme, variable loads created by severe weather. We also prioritize vibration management to ensure your equipment remains reliable even when ambient conditions fluctuate rapidly.

If you are engineering a system that needs to thrive in evolving, high-stress conditions, let us help you build a solution that lasts.

Please join us in congratulating purchasing agent Martha Pope on her recent retirement after 44 incredible years. She started with us in Louvers back on Aug 10, 1981, and later became our rock-solid purchasing agent.

During her time at Moore Fans, she always approached her job with the knowledge and foresight as to how the material she purchases impacts the total operation at Moore Fans.

"She’s genuine, honest and kind," says colleague David Bertsch, when thinking about Martha's time here in the office. "She worked so hard but still took the time to connect with people. Her willingness to go above and beyond was second to none."

Martha — we'll miss you around the shop, but we know you won't be far, so we can still say hello! Enjoy all the adventures in this new chapter.
