The Switch Crew (& better half’s 😉) recently celebrated a successful & remarkable 2023! We started off with a couple hours of golf at Ringer Golf ⛳️ & ended with delicious dinner & wonderful conversations at Kingston’s Steakhouse 🥩

*someone’s driver head may have snapped off…😬 not naming names😂*

We added a new team member Ian Stein this past year & continue to grow—adding a new employee just yesterday, Hunter.

Switch Electric is growing and looking to hire an experienced Journeyman Electrician that specializes in either or both commercial and residential work--solar knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Yesterday, the new Ladies of Switch: Rachel & Ashleigh, drove to Illinois to gather supplies for the team since materials are scarce &/or nonexistent in Iowa. We visited two supply shops: Gexpro in Schaumburg—shoutout to Mike & Amperage Electrical Supply in Roselle—shoutout to Steve.

Imagine the looks we got when ordering parts that felt like we were speaking a foreign language 😂 they were so helpful & patient with us. {& gave us some swag 😉}

We explained the reason for being there & they hadn’t either heard about the derecho storm or if they had, didn’t understand the magnitude of it or that it was more than a rainstorm. When we told them we were both still without power on Day 9, they couldn’t believe it. This is a 3 hour & 45 minute drive one way—they have no idea what’s going on in CR.

We ordered more parts & will be heading back in a couple days so the Switch Team can make a bigger, faster impact to our community.

Most importantly, we appreciate your patience while we navigate these busy times. We are doing our best to get to all of you so thank you so much for your trust in us! ⚡️🤍

To those needing Wes & Switch Electric services please, please be patient with him & his team: Eric, Colton & Sam. They are working through their very long list of people that need assistance & there is very limited material available to them to even do these jobs. We are doing our best & still have no power ourselves & terrible cell service. He is receiving your calls, voicemails & texts & if I can ask one thing: please don’t call or text 15 times, it prolongs the process. Last night he went through 85+ texts & this morning he already is over 65 texts.

I know people are stressed but we appreciate your understanding 🖤 Stay safe & we love you!
