What happens when a wind project reaches the end of its life?

Decommissioning is a planned process. Wind turbines and related infrastructure can be removed and the land restored. Land agreements and local rules typically require sites to be returned close to their original condition so the land can continue to be used for agriculture or other purposes.

One of the things we're most proud of is what Long Grain Wind means for Crittenden County schools.

According to an independent economic analysis, the project is projected to generate over $26.6 million for the Earle School District and over $7.8 million for the Marion School District over the life of the project.
