Caitlin Sainio Designs Original crochet ornaments, appliques, and art. I'm a mechanical engineer by training, and a crochet designer (and stay-at-home mom) by current occupation.

I like to make things and draw things, and I especially love to crochet: it's like engineering with thread! I've always been fascinated with geometric patterns, and I enjoy being outside, so designs from geometry and nature make frequent appearances in my pieces. (I've found that crochet lends itself to those types of designs, which is another reason I like it so much.)
