At the 1:50:00 mark I make a push for the city to pay for city electric from natural resources. AND at the 2:09:00 mark I make a push to be the new Executive Director of the Marquette Board of Light and Power.
It's nice to have it on record at least.

Sometimes cosmic forces are at work: things happen if you try.

To: Marquette Board of Light & Power Executive Director Search Committee
From: Matthew Luttenberger

Good afternoon,
I write to you today, as one part of a three part letter. The other two parts were delivered to the hospital and city manager Angeli. I write to you today in light of the recent announcements by the preferred incoming executive director of the MBLP. This recent development creates an unexpected opening with a very short timeline for replacement.

I write to you to ask that I be considered for this position. Typically, a long listed resume would accompany this letter. I submit my resume of my work history, yet I am also well versed in the upcoming technologies entering the electrical generation field. This is why I am applying for the position. To encourage and create the next generation of electrical services. With the new generators set up, the basic job of the executive director will be to maintain the status quo, perform community outreach, create lasting programs for electrical engineering and connect with emerging companies highlighting the areas unique natural energy.

My purpose of this letter is to set up a personal meeting to further explain my ideas, goals, and possible employment. A similar letter has been written to Mr. Angeli because he, along with the city commission, have heard many of the ideas that I presented to them over the years. Some of which are only possible with city involvement, thus a letter to him, and not because of any personal relationship because he may be just as surprised about this as you. Another reason I wish to address you is in light of the new "Paris Accord" discussion. Many of the proposals I had made were on business related grounds, such as "MI Energy, MI Jobs", the new debate is important, but not different than what I have proposed. In that manner, I may be able to bridge a gap. Lastly, in the long term, I would like the MBLP to partner with some of the groups who are leading the way for humans to travel to Mars. This group of scientists, enthusiasts, and tinkerers have three criteria to follow. Food, Water, Shelter. The hospital is included in this letter campaign because I see the Mars group being a centerpiece to the new industry that can be hosted there. It may sound counter-intuitive, but if we can bring renewable energy jobs to the city, we can harness those projects and even reduce our need for the main generators when they need repair or maintenance.

I would like to thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you regarding the future direction of the Marquette Board of Light and Power and how I may be a part of it.

The design can be slightly modified to use the fidget spinner as a base... whenever the kids get tired of it, don't throw it out, clip something together to act as a windcatcher, and connect it to the motor... science project for the schools. ;~)

So for the past few weeks I have had this idea that the windmill is too big...
So what if we made it so small that it could fit INSIDE the mesh of a chain-link fence.
What if we could have 50 windmills per section of chain-link fence? Patch them together with some wires and fill a battery in 50 percent of the time.
Just a thought I present to you... ;~)
