For the 10 that ordered the CCI converted 880s, they’re all here and labeled!

Answering the question I’m sure is coming, your best bet to get one is to go straight through CCI and request they ship here when it’s done if you want it bent. Ordering from them yourself keeps things cleaner on my end, and makes sure you get exactly what you want.

Sneak peek of one of the projects in the works. Something different than what you’re used to seeing here.

Until this I have not had good success with sanding and polishing. Pretty decent at sanding but the whole “cut and buff” part, I was really struggling with. Thanks my man .lids for the guidance. If you’ve seen the older 880s after he’s done with them, you’ll understand why I was getting feedback from him on where I was going wrong.

The Harrisburg bent 880, foretold by the ancients in their carvings. 🤣

This hob, similar to the other hob/die items I’ve picked up may make a resurgence if I can learn enough to use it well and produce something from it. Regardless, this *very* old badge design showcasing an upward bend at the rear is very interesting to me. Especially in light of all the folks that really, really don’t seem to like it. (Even though I’ve never seen any old helmets with this shape)

No stress, everyone is entitled to their own taste, but let’s try exercising a little of that brotherhood when it comes to personal taste in bends.

Sometimes, these things are just difficult for no good reason at all. 😂 Brand new and just not wanting to cooperate.
