HVAC equipment can be repaired much more cost effectively than Big HVAC would have you believe. If you are paying a fair price for repairs, replacement is rarely justified.

Getting a customer some heat on a cold holiday weekend. Customer recently purchased his first home. The seller installed a new AC/Heat pump package unit. Unfortunately they chose not to have heat strips or the electrical upgrades required for the heat strips. This left the current home owner with an inside temperature of 50 degrees max. if the outdoor temperature is at or near freezing. I would like to give a shout to Reed Electrical for taking care of the electrical part of this at a better than fair price to the customer.

This one definitely speaks to the importance of having an HVAC specific pre purchase inspection.

Unfortunately, this type of practice happens everyday by Big HVAC. Right here in our community. You don’t have a maintenance program because it is a good deal for you. These companies do what ever they have to in order to get you in them because it puts a “Tech” in your house to sell you something twice a year. Thats why they have three options for you even if your system is running fine.

No maintenance agreements/memberships. No inflating repair costs to push you towards a new unit. No upselling.

Just Quality Service at a fair price (50% or more below Big HVAC services.

Getting new customers the old fashion way, EARNING them. Great service at a fair price!!!! Customer called, system would not reach set point. Fan tested bad, unit was dirty. Once these issues were resolved. An accurate assessment of refrigerant levels was possible. This systems performance was returned to factory specs at 30% of what Big HVAC (companies running multiple trucks) would have charged and no talk of replacing the unit.

How do we do it so cheap? Our core value is to provide solutions that help customers in our community. Big HVAC’s business model is to increase profit through sales for share holders.

The truth is most systems can be repaired relatively inexpensively. Big HVAC companies do not want you to know this. They artificially inflate repair quotes in order to push unit replacement.
