Today marks the 25th anniversary of a day that displayed the absolute worst of humanity, while simultaneously showing us the absolute best of humanity. The 9/11 attacks on the American people rattled our lives. It made us think about who we are in this world and the nature of our true responsibilities in it. It brought all of us together in a way not seen since World War II.

Its hard to imagine that today, in 2026, nearly a third of the American population is under the age of 25 years old. For those too young to have a memory of it, we hope you absorb the images, reporting, documentaries, and stories of the time. Not to relive the horror of the events, but rather to witness the truly endless supply of courage, selflessness, and dedication to one’s fellow man on display on 9/11 and the days, weeks, and months to follow. On this day we’d like to offer a special ‘thank you’ to police, fire fighters, and first responders for accepting the ever-present danger that goes along with the positions they voluntarily occupy.

It is with great appreciation, admiration, and gratitude that we say goodbye to a true American icon, Dolly Parton. Throughout her remarkable life and career, she has inspired generations through her music and genuine care for others.

Among her many memorable words is the simple reminder, “If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.” It is a sentiment that beautifully captures the kindness and compassion she has shared throughout her life.

Dolly Parton leaves behind a remarkable legacy that extends far beyond her music. Her ability to bring people together will continue to inspire many for years to come. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
