I don't want to be overexaggerative or anything but I'll just say, "an artist with their $2 brush..."

Seriously though, this client called because their A/C wasn't working and they were VERY nervous about having to buy a new one. The truth is, their equipment is beyond its life expectancy and uses a phased-out refrigerant. But to get their A/C running, all it needed was a new capacitor and a little coil cleaning. Honesty, presenting all the options, and doing right by the client is ALWAYS the right move. As long I'm being up front, honest, and document all of my recommendations, I'll always be able to sleep well.

And if you're in business long enough, you know there will be a day when the equipment breaks down for good. And it will happen while the house is still in your review mirror. I'm ok with that. Because, hopefully, I've built enough trust to earn their business on the replacement.
