Location: Mesa, AZ

Please Read Before Applying
We are seeking experienced welders/fabricators only. If you have no prior welding experience, do not apply; this position does not offer training.
Requirements:

Minimum of 3+ years of welding/fabrication experience required.
Handrail fabrication experience is a MUST.
Must pass a welding test.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Proficient in welding and fitting thin and thick steel materials.
Strong attention to detail with precise fitment abilities.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements/layouts.
Knowledge of welder settings and adjustments is essential.
Experience operating shop equipment (saws, drill press, shears, etc.).
Plasma cutting experience is a plus.
Experience with structural steel is preferred.

Job Details:
Custom, one-off fabrication projects.
Off-site installations.
1099 position.
Pay starting at $18/hr+, depending on experience.
Immediate hire.

Note: Applications without hands-on welding experience will not be considered. We do not train for this role.

Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Welder/Fabricator at EOS Designz. You will interpret drawings and measurements, prepare materials, and execute various welding processes to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components. Your daily tasks will include setting up and operating welding equipment, cutting and fitting metal parts, and ensuring the quality and alignment of welds. You’ll also maintain tools and equipment while following safety procedures and guidelines. Collaboration with team members to plan fabrication steps and meet project deadlines is expected.

Qualifications:
Strong skills in Welding and Arc Welding for general fabrication and structural work.
Proficiency in TIG Welding for precision and thin-gauge applications.
Experience with MIG Welding for efficient production of thicker materials.
Knowledge of materials, including the properties of steel, aluminum, and other metals used in fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
Experience with metal cutting, grinding, fitting, and basic fabrication tools and machinery.
Commitment to safety and use of PPE in compliance with shop standards.
Strong manual dexterity and ability to lift and move materials as required.
