This week, we celebrated a piece of West Texas history! Diamondback donated a 1956 Lufkin C640DB-144-30 pumping unit to the Petroleum Museum.

This 70-year-old piece of equipment is the first of only 39 units ever produced and now stands as a permanent fixture welcoming museum visitors, a reminder of the people and innovation that shaped the Permian Basin.

Through our partnership with Midland College, Diamondback employees are helping bridge the gap between education and industry by bringing real-world knowledge directly into the classroom. Throughout the year, mentors will support hands-on learning, reinforce course material, and share career insights with students preparing for careers in the oil and gas industry.
