Milestone marked 🎉: Diamondback recently reached one million barrels of oil equivalent per day of production in the Midland Basin!

Built from humble beginnings as a small operator, we've grown into one of the largest independent oil and natural gas companies in the country. Today, we operate across hundreds of thousands of acres in the Permian, focused on developing some of the most resource-rich formations in North America, while being recognized for scale, efficiency, and a strong track record of ex*****on.

This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work of our incredible employees, support of our investors, and vision of our founders who embraced their wildcatter spirit nearly two decades ago.

Our Oklahoma City team recently traded the office for an afternoon of family and fun at Andy B's Bowl Social.

From bowling and arcade games to axe throwing, face painting, and more, there was something for everyone to enjoy. This fun employee engagement experience was a great chance to step away from the workday, connect with one another, and make memories with families!

The Permian Basin is an economic powerhouse in Texas and the most productive energy region on earth. Although our impact is critical to the state, West Texas has operated under power constraints because adequate transmission infrastructure has not kept pace with our region’s growing demand. This week, Power West Texas launched to highlight the need to address insufficient transmission capacity and forecasted electrical load in our region.

For many years, Diamondback has been part of the conversation. The case for transmission build-out extends well beyond the energy sector. Electricity demand is rising, and regional use is projected to more than double within the next decade. Nearly half of this projected growth comes from sources beyond oil and gas operations, including commercial development and a growing population.

Our support for Midland College (MC) and our region’s future energy workforce continues!

Diamondback is expanding its long-standing commitment through a $1 million investment in the college's Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) and Automation program. The gift builds on our mentorship program with MC, strengthens workforce development, expands hands-on training, and grows mentorship opportunities for students preparing to enter the energy workforce right here in the Permian Basin.

To mark the occasion, our team was honored to join MC leadership for a check presentation on campus with students in the I&E Mentorship Program and community and industry stakeholders.
