Join our dynamic team as a Carpenter/Siding Mechanic and bring your expertise to transforming buildings with precision, craftsmanship, and dedication. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various siding materials and carpentry elements across diverse construction projects. Your skills will contribute to creating durable, aesthetically pleasing structures that stand the test of time. We are very quality oriented. Our company has been providing quality siding to the Jersey shore for 26 years.
Duties would be:
Measure, cut, assemble, and install siding materials such as vinyl, wood, metal, or fiber cement with accuracy and efficiency
Utilize hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy machinery safely to complete tasks on construction sites
Perform framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and concrete forming as needed for various projects
Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed and projects are completed on schedule
Experience
Proven experience in construction estimating and working on construction sites
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively
Demonstrated knowledge of roofing systems, stucco application, masonry techniques, plumbing integration, and welding processes
Familiarity with schematics for fabrication or metal stud framing projects
Hands-on experience in restoration work or remodeling projects is highly desirable
Previous handyman experience or versatility across multiple trades enhances your suitability for this role
Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into quality craftsmanship
