My friend Zack runs the woodyard in Chestertown. He blew a Hydraulic line in a super tight spot on this barko loader. He needed a 1½" crows foot and the closest one he could find was 5 days out. So the next morning, I fired up the torch and cut this one out for him quick. With a little trimming it worked out great

We fabricated these pins and bars and got them installed on the clients trailer yesterday. The ramps originally stowed away under the trailer. He requested this setup for easier handling, so we made it happen. Of course we went heavy on the steel.. we build things to last around here.

Heres some pics of the lifting beam from yesterday. I made all these parts by hand with a torch and a mag drill. I would usually have things like this cut on a plasma table but it was coming up on 4th of july weekend and I knew I wouldn't be able to have anything made quick enough. Sometimes its fun making things the old school way anyway

Beautiful day on the water a couple of weeks ago working on this ferry. The hinges on these access doors were crushed and broken from running tracked equipment on them over the years. We decided to put the new hinges in the center to take care of this issue. With a few modifications, it worked out great and the customer was back up and running the next day.

This little roller had a bad day. Someone forgot to drain the water out of the drum before winter. It froze and split open almost all the way around. Luckily it broke right at the end cap so there was another layer of steel behind the crack on one side. Made it a lot easier to get a nice full pe*******on weld.

Fireplace grates made to last a lifetime. Built heavy with 1" x ½" thick steel bars. Unlike most other grates, these have support legs in the center so they won't sag and melt away. Available in many different sizes. The ones pictured are 24" wide in the front, 20" wide in the back, and 15" deep. Message me for pricing.

A friend of mine broke an exhaust manifold bolt in the head of the dump truck motor in the background today. They tried everything to get it out. I welded a washer and nut to the end of the stud and got it out first try. Couldn't beleive it.. usually it takes a few tries. I guess they must have loosened it up for me lol. Welded this muffler bracket for him while I was there too.
