There is a very high chance we are getting hail soon. Here are some keys to protecting yourself:
Precautions:
1. Park your vehicle in a covered location. (I would carpool to a parking ramp if my family did not have enough garage space)
2. Take photos of your house and property before the storm.
3. Close all windows.
4. Stay inside.
During the Storm:
1. Record/take photos of any hail or excessive wind you see outside.
2. Record/take photos of any water entering your house.
3. If you see hail or excessive wind, DM us or call/text (612) 703-3431 right away.
After the Storm:
1. Take photos of your house and property.
2. Review the condition assessment report you got from us to make a decision on whether any repairs are needed.

~Severe Weather Outbreak Sunday-Sunday Night~
Intense severe thunderstorms are expected this afternoon, evening, and into the early overnight hours for portions of the region. Thunderstorms will quickly develop during the mid-afternoon hours (after 2:00 pm) and move east/northeast rather quickly. The highest likelihood for intense thunderstorms will be in the orange, like Sioux Falls, Sioux City, Omaha, and Lincoln areas. As the thunderstorms move east, they will gradually weaken, but likely holding severe criteria into the early overnight hours across western/central IA and southern MN. Strong tornadoes (EF2+) and destructive hail up to baseball size will be possible in the orange, especially between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. Intense damaging wind gusts up to 80 mph will be possible in the orange and eastern fringes of the yellow area.
Graduation is today but once it's done, I'll quickly get on here and start frequent updates. I may live stream this evening to cover today and tomorrow's outbreaks.
