This is a close up of a dirty condenser coil and one that is cleaned. With the 100 degree days coming up make sure your unit is cleaned. This will help the system work properly.

Seeing water around your outside unit.

With the humidity rising this is normal. The higher the humidity the more you will see this. It’s caused by the cool refrigerant. It’s like coke can sweating on a hot day.

If you have a concern about it turn your system off and see if it drys up. If it doesn’t then call us today and schedule a tune up.

There are a lot of reasons why a neglected air conditioning system could be driving the utility bill up. For instance, clogged coils will not allow the machine to work efficiently. Low refrigerant can cause the coil to freeze. Dirty filters can reduce airflow. The list goes on. Have your system serviced yearly. Call us today and have your system serviced.

Condensing units are a magnet for ants, snakes, lizards and other pest. To prevent pest from damaging your unit this summer, keep boric acid sprinkled around the unit or ant poison. Keep the shrubs trimmed back at least 3 feet all the way around.
