It’s finally time to treat these parts with a rust inhibitor, let them dry and get them in the coating booth!!

Time to create a profile on the metal and remove all chemicals that may have cooked out in the “outgassing” process.
Smaller pieces are blasted in our media cabinet with 100 grit Aluminum Oxide. Larger parts are taken outside to the Texas Blaster using sand or glass to create a surface ready for powder!

After the old coating has been completely removed, we take the metal to the oven to “outgas”. The heat will release trapped gases or moisture as to not interfere with the coating process.

Another process to remove original coating requires a laser technique. We use the Alien Laser.

After the furniture has been pressure washed, the old coating has to be removed. We have several ways to get that done. These pieces are going into the GreenSolv chemical stripping vat overnight.

To begin this project for the outdoor furniture, we will pressure wash the parts to remove loose dirt, pollen, and any other debris from outdoor elements.
