We're back with that handrail project! Our crew got the top steps handrail installed last Friday just before school started, and earlier this week we wrapped up the bottom three — replacing the aging handrail with a fresh, sturdy upgrade. Built to last and looking clean!

Some good ol' pump station work! We take old and leaky and turn it into new and shiny. Custom pipe fabrication, flanged fittings, and a solid install from start to finish — that's what we do at Tomcat's Welding and Fabrication.

Here at Tomcats Welding we have worked the last month to get our B-1.1-B-1.5 bridge Certification and Procedures!! The last 3 nights were working at Grand Coulee Dam Steel bridge crossing working for DOT and Hamilton Construction. Welding down plates and support plates across the surface and under the bridge. That bridge was constructed in 1937 they don’t make things like this anymore!! What was surprising to me was that amount of traffic and volume all night!! Yes, they had the bridge shut down for a hour at a time. It was a great experience and the hands I got to work with thru all the process was amazing!!

A sneak peek at what our guys are working on! It's hot, it's sunny, but that doesn't stop us from meeting our clients' deadlines. This handrail needs to be installed by Friday before school starts. During the peak summer months, we keep our crew cool, hydrated, and taking plenty of breaks — safety always comes first. If we can't meet a deadline because of it, we make sure our clients know. That's how we do things at Tomcat's Welding and Fabrication.

Recently finished up this project for a client in Grandview, WA! While repairing a prior contractor's unfinished work, we were asked to fabricate a custom wheel guard for their truck service department. Opting to paint it themselves, they'll be finishing it in bright yellow. Just one step closer to opening their doors — another solid build by Tomcat's Welding and Fabrication!

Before and after! Sometimes equipment comes into the shop having skipped years of maintenance — this roll-off truck being one of them. We got her fixed up right with new track roller bearings and a new 1-3/4" chain-mount block built with proper hardened chain steel holding it to the hook carrier. No matter the condition, we'll get it back to work.
