Just a follow up to yesterday's video. This is what had failed to allow the fire hazard, three small holes on the left section where the flame was rolling out. Bad news is, someone was hired to replace the a/c on this system two years ago. As a part of that service, the furnace was never inspected so this may have been caught before it escalated.

Replaced this furnace yesterday due to its age and found several cracks in the heat exchanger. Homeowners had no idea anything was wrong. They mentioned this morning that they had both been having frequent headaches the past few winters but wrote it off as the change in weather. I wish I could have tested this before it was removed (had we known). I can’t say it caused the headaches but guess we will find out. Please consider having yours checked out if it has some age to it.

Forgot to post this but the project has been completed. Out of respect of the home owners privacy, I’m not putting up inside pics but all 3 zones turned out well and work great!
