🇺🇸 Florida Comfort Systems Recognizes September 2, 1945

On September 2, 1945, representatives of Japan formally signed the Instrument of Surrender aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, bringing World War II to an official close.

For Florida Comfort Systems, honoring those who served has special meaning. Company President Denny Martin is a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served during the first Gulf War as an E-5 Second Class Petty Officer aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60).

That experience helped instill the values Denny continues to bring to Florida Comfort Systems today — discipline, accountability, integrity and service.

As a veteran-owned and operated company, we proudly recognize this historic day and remember the generations of American servicemen and women whose courage and sacrifice have protected our freedom. 🇺🇸

We’re incredibly grateful to RSS Racing and its partners for selecting CCA Florida as the nonprofit organization they are supporting and for giving us the opportunity to share our conservation mission with race fans across Florida and beyond.

On Tuesday, , the Collier Community Foundation and Collier County, Florida completed Phase 1 of the CCA Taylor-Martin Reef. This new reef will consist of 50 prefabricatedii reef modules and is located approximately 12-13 miles offshore from Gordon’s Pass within the Tod Sirod Artificial Reef Zone. The CCA Taylor-Martin Reef will expand artificial reef habitat off Collier County and support marine life and recreational angling in Southwest Florida. 💪🏼
